How the hell did we end up like this
Wandering between reality and happiness
But fingers had snapped
It began making sense
There we were
Face to face with our own consequence
We acted fast and with a smile
Then we ran for what seemed a mile
Cold summer air ran fast at our cheeks
As we fumbled our way running from the beach
Headlights cut through our midnight disguise
And announced our bodies to the night
Oh
You bear the cold so well and I bear the lies
It’s an Eskimo man with an Eskimo Mrs.
I’ll cover you in Eskimo kisses
An Eskimo man and an Eskimo Mrs.
I’ll cover you
-Hey Ocean!
Somehow instead of studying for my psyschosocial exam.. I’ve developed a taste for Jane Austen.. I guess weirder things have happened. I feel like this summer is going to be all about the classics—mostly because I can get them all for free on my iPad while in Africa.
So far on the list:
- The Jungle Book
- Arabian Nights
- Heart of Darkness
- Anna Karanina (sp)
Anyone have recommendations?
Home is a recent sculptural installation by Colombian artist Miler Lagos. The piece was constructed at MagnanMetz Gallery late last year using carefully stacked books to create a compact dome that is entirely self-supporting.
I want to live here O_O.
